Over 50 racers have used the FormulaSPEED to train in, and 36 of those drivers have actually entered FS races and secured points paying finishes.  Below are some highlighted drivers, along with the complete list of FS competitors.

FEATURED FS DRIVERS

Jaden Conwright

In 2014 Conwright secured the FS National Championship with assistance from the VMB Driver Development scholarship. Conwright moved up into Pro FM winning multiple races and securing 3rd in the championship. He has since moved to Europe where he has won in F4, F3, and Porsche Cup. More info…

Courtney Crone

Crone secured a VMB FS scholarship and won both regional and national points championships in 2018. This performance got her on the candidate list for the Team USA Scholarship.

Crone also was invited to the Road To Indy and W Series Shootouts based on her performances. Learn more…

Rayce Dykstra

Rayce secured a VMB Driver Development scholarship and secured 2nd place in the 2018 FS championship in his first season. (Wins at Portland, Laguna, & Sonoma)

VMB chose Rayce to pilot thier new FIA F4 car in the Formula Pro USA Championship for 2019 where he scored multiple wins and 2nd overall in the championship.

Colin Mullan

Mullan was 2017 FS vice-champion with wins at Portland, Laguna, and Auto Club Speedway. Mullan went on to compete in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge TCR class. Colin was also awarded the 2018 Team USA Scholarship which included the opportunity to race Formula Ford in the United Kingdom.  Learn more…

Jonathan Sugianto

Sugianto secured a VMB Driver Development scholarship to compete in FS in 2016. He secured the FS West Coast Region championship in 2017 and was invited to the Mazda Road to Indy $200K Shootout at the end of his season.

Cameron Parsons

Cameron Parsons was vice-champion in the FS series in 2015, only 4 points behind the overall champion. Parsons has gone on to compete in IMSA and the SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series. He is also the owner of Parsons Racing a west coast based Formula Mazda Team. Learn more…

Michael Whelden

 Whelden won the 2012 FS championship and has continued to compete in select FS races over multiple seasons. Whelden went on to win multiple Pro FM titles and was invited to the Mazda Road to 24 Shootout in 2014. Learn more…

Robin Shute

Shute competed in select FS races in 2015 and always finished in the top 5. He went on to secure a Pro FM title and qualified for the Mazda Road to 24 Shootout in 2014. Shute went on to compete at the Pike’s Peak Hill Climb and has secured a record for fastest electric vehicle, and the overall win in 2019. Learn more…
